1/2 way through summer

Well, tomorrow is going to be the 1/2 way point for my Summer vacation. Believe it or not, I am glad. This summer has been really boring (you would think I would be used to it by now, but I’m not ^_^;) I really want to go back to school, not just to finish it, but to actually have something to look forward to just about every day. Really. When you were little, you were like “but moooom I don’t wanna go back to school! I hate school!!” and now, you are like “I cannot wait to get back to school to see [my/the] [friends/posse/gang/whatever] again!” And right now I’m like the second statement. cause I haven’t seen much of my friends lately, except for a couple of time Tiffany Dow said, “Hi Mark!!!!” out of the backseat of someone’s car. Obviously she really likes me, or she wouldn’t be doing that. Come to think of it, she’s been like this especially after the EC dance and Prom (Yes, I did go to prom, but mostly for lighting operation. Next year I might help out with the sound and lights, but take breaks to dance and talk to friends and whatnot. Just to clairify.)

Even though the first half of summer was boring (except for sending out 20-some resumes and getting a 2nd time interview with Zellers,) this second half is going to be a bit better because tomorrow my family is going to Parrsburro to see the Geology Museum and fossil cliffs, I believe. We might also go to Pictou, but I am not sure. Well, it’s going to be at most pretty interesting. After I get home tomorrow, I’ll post the photos up on Flickr and then post them up here for all to see. Pretty soon, possibly two-three weeks, we’re going to start shopping for school supplies. This time, I’m going to end up costing quite a bit of money, because of all the new clothes and new school bag (the type that goes over one side and cross over to the other, but I do not know what they are actually called though…) I’ve already gotten some pencils and coiless writing book.. I still need to get a couple more pens and a binder with clear colored dividers. Other than that, I just need clothes and maybe new shoes. My current ones leak at the top, and so I can’t really walk through wet grass with them, really. Anothing thing that I need, among other needs, is a job. Yes, you heard me, the one at the back. Well, I’m going to probably have to send out 20-some resumes at the beginning of school, just after Labor day. Yay. Well, at least I’m going to get a job, I need money for food, clothes, and other things, and 50% is going into a savings account for NSCC. Other than all of that, I’m just fine.

I don’t want to leave this post on a cliffhanger, so I just want to say that right now I am getting to a point in my life when I have to start paying for my own things, as well as being more socially and physically active inside and outside school, because grade 11 was really good. I want to make grade 12 the best. But, that is a month away, and it’s getting down to the wire here, and I have to start doing this, or I will regret not doing these things.
