Autumn Glow Preview update
A little over a month ago, I posted about my progress with creating a new website, which has (pathetically) taken over a year (counting when I was running CuteNews on this server) for me to get to this point.
Anyways, here’s the details:
- I’ve decided that it’s going to have a horizontal navigation bar at the top of the page, alongside the title.
- The content is in a box positioned in the middle of the page. I’m thinking of having a wider homepage than the rest of the pages, which are mainly going to be static, like my “about yours truly” page (which seriously needs a content overhaul ^^;; ) I’m going to test [the wide homepage] out sometime.
- Right now the color scheme is red navigation bar and links, dark background, and green headings. The thing is, It doesn’t really reflect the name of the site. I will try to do that as well, and maybe even make seasonal/holiday schemes which I can swap out manually by editing my master CSS file.
To help you better visualize the layout, here’s two screenshots: the first one is of the main page, and the second is of a blog post (unfinished). Any comments or suggestions are welcome, and color scheme ideas/colors are very appreciated.
Unfortunately, the current version of Screen Grab that’s in Firefox isn’t compatible, so I could only get regular screenshots ^^;
