PPD: Friday, Saturday photos

I don’t really post enough on here even if I did say that I would post more often. -_-;

Anyways, about 34% of the photos are of my dog, Star, with a Santa hat and a elf hat on, and 66% is of photos of my first comic strip with some ideas sketched on another page sitting on my desk. :p

Maybe I might go downtown this evening and take some pictures of the Santa Claus parade, or get my mom to do it. Although… I would be needing my tripod because of the lighting, I have a Canon PowerShot A520, not as good as a SLR, but pretty good quality. ^_^

First Snow (edit: Unofficial)

Today was unofficially the first snowfall of the year! During our lunch, it started snowing, and people went outside, socialized, had some fun :) but the grass was a little slippery tho… ^^;; It slowed down a little bit, but then around the end of the school day it picked up again, and I just decided to walk home early because I wanted to enjoy it while it lasted. :) I slightly slipped on the grass when we crossed the street, but fortunately I didn’t fall! :p

Man, first snowfalls always comes with this magical beauty that just makes everybody want to go outside and talk to each other. Anyways, it’s supposed to get a little warmer as the week progresses, but I do hope that we get some snow for [the town's] annual Santa Claus Parade.

Edit: I now have some photos that I took this morning of the remaining snow that was on the ground… Macro shots FTW! Enjoy!

Snow, Snow Snow! 2 Snow, Snow Snow! 3 Snow, Snow Snow! 1

Website related

I am really tired of always changing my blog’s theme. It’s just too easy. I think that, for now I ‘m just going to keep this one, and maybe eventually I’ll come up with something.

School related

Math this time around seems to be much better than last year, and it’s not just because I already did it before. I’m getting help studying for my tests, and help in class, after class, and with a tutor.

I’m working on a new title video for our school’s province-wide TV show, A.R.H.S.: Generation Next. Right now so far I have the basic animation for the text, and I need video clips and music (which is going to be created in GarageBand for the iMac by my good friend Korey.)

Another Dance, another playlist. Although I am going to use two of the three CD’s that I used at the CACL Bridge Workshop (which was unfortunately set on fire on the weekend) the Wednesday before November.  Tomorrow I will check with my friend who is the head of CHAR and show him the playlists.

Miscellaneous information

  • FYI: 50 days = 7 weeks until Christmas.
  • I’m getting at least a little better at drawing in manga style, but I still have a long while to go ^^
  • This Friday, grad write-ups are due.  750 characters max.  Mine is pretty much done, but needs a lot of fine-tuning.
