Exam update part 2: Second and final half of English done

I am FINALLY done English 12 for the rest of the year.

whee

Now seriously, I am really happy that I am finally done. It was a really nice class to be in, too. We read things like Frankenstein, The Tragedy of MacBeth, and even King Lear.

On friday, I have my final semester 1 exam: math 11. And so next semester I have Grade 12 math. I heard that it’s going to be hard, but I hope that they are wrong…

Anyways, for the final part of the exam, I had to do an essay on why canadian youth do not vote, and for the letter, I had to write to the Superintendent of Schools to applaud him and the school board for changing the time we go to school from 9:00am to 3:00pm, to 11:00am to 5:00pm. Fun, fun.

Anyways, I don’t really have much to do for the next three days. What are your plans for the rest of the week?

Exam update part 1: First half of English 12 done.

Okay, so today around 11:23am I finished the first half of my English 12 provincial exam. Usually, I don’t get finished until some time after 11:30, which is the cut-off time for most students. After 12:20, I have to go back up to the resource room and finish the second half of my exam, which will be one essay, and one transactional writing, which is a fancy term for letter writing, lol. Anyways, I have to go get something to eat, I will post back today after the exams, unless my little brother is on the computer, which I know he will be. >_> Anyways, for those who are writing your mid-year finals/semester 1 exams, which exams do you have?

Semester 1 finals

This upcoming week I have two exams, one at the beginning of the week, and one at the end.  The first one would be my English 12 Provincals which I cannot study for, and my Math 11 Academic Exam.  The week after this week will be the start of Semester 2. The classes (in day 1 order) are:

  1. (75) Film & Video Productions
  2. (10) 10 Minute Break
  3. (75) Resource
  4. Lunch Break
  5. (50) Math 12 acad
  6. (50) Global History 12
  7. (50 Math 12 acad

Day one and three times are the same, but day two and four are different.  Two and Four’s times are three 50’s in the morning (break after first class), and two 75’s. Also, day 2, 4’s lunches are pushed up by 3 minutes.

Yesterday we were given a memo from the school telling us that lunch has been cut down by 6 minutes (I think, I don’t have it with me right now) and the school day extended by 3.  The good news is that every month we get an afternoon off, to allow teachers collaborative time.
