New RCA to 1/8th cable
Well, today I went out again in search of a new cable to connect my iPod to my stereo, and this time, my search was not in vain, unlike four days ago. The sound is actually quite clearer than my former setup, which was — *inhales* — a satellite receiver RCA cable going into a RCA-to-1/8th converter which goes to a male-to-male 1/8th gold-plated stereo cable which then goes into my second generation 2GB iPod nano. *exhales*. The problem with that setup was that I had a RCA cable specifically designed for satellite recievers, which was pretty long and bulky. Also, I had a converter which came with my 2.1 computer speakers, which I used. The sound quality was okay, but sometimes either the bass, treble, or the whole right side would drop out. With this one cable, it has improved significantly.
Anyways, I had several photos that I took of the cables and stuff, but it seemed that I lost a few of them, so now we’ll just have to do with these two. Which aren’t too bad, if I say so myself. ^_^
