Product problem(s)
Well, on Monday I went out and got myself a new headset mic, which was branded nexXtech, no problem. I cannot really use it on my computer because the jacks at the front do not work. >.> figures.
Anyways, I decided to test them on my guitar amp in the living room. So I got my 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch stereo converter, and pluged it into the main input A. I spoke into the supposed “mic” at the end of the boom, and nothing. I could hear something, but it was very faint. I took the wind screen off, and twisted it around. The mic that’s in it is as small as pinhead. Then I turn the headset around, and I heard feedback. I found out that the actual mic is in the headset itself. A headset mic is no use to me if I have to take it off every time I want to talk to somebody. And may I mention, I paid $30 for this. I’m going to try to see if I can get a refund back, and then I’m going to Walmart, and getting a good Cyber Acoustics headset mic.
