Looking back…

Well, it’s kind of what you would think this is about, but also it kind of isn’t. ^_^

Lately I’ve been looking through old blog posts, and some of my titles hasn’t been … helpful to get me more visitors.  A good example is “Hidden Melody: Now with 25% more crap!” Using the term “Crap” in it, with the exclamation point (!) makes it seem really negative.  Also, in the actual post, the usage of “crap like that” seems to put a lot of negativity in it.  Maybe it was my mood?  It was written a little less than a year ago, and it was the middle of summer, so I might have been really bored out of my skull, although in less than a week we went out on not one, but two day trips that week after I wrote it.

And also, I know that there were some problems with some of the posts that has comics in them, so I fixed them up!  I now know that you guys perfer to just have the images themselves rather than clicking on a flash thumbnail to see it. — Mark

New test mini-site up!

Well, I’ve decided to make my own Wordpress theme. Right now I’m in the process of creating the HTML and CSS (as well as graphics, lolololo) which the former will be split up and edited into at least 5+ files. Anyways, the one thing, that little catch, is that I am using alpha-blended PNGs, and overlapping fixed backgrounds, so unfortunately it will look really crappy on Internet 6 & earlier browsers, I do know that it’ll look just fine in IE7.

So, if you want to check it out, just go to http://hidden.saw-red.com/test/nagisa/ and if your screen is bigger than 1024×768, horizontally resize your browser to see the “Vista” effect. Resize it even more until the background is over the “Hidden Melody” part and check out the alpha-blended goodness. Again, just go to http://hidden.saw-red.com/test/nagisa/ to check it out.

Sakura Microns? In Nova Scotia?!

I am really starting to become dissatisfied with my current manga-style drawing quality as of late. A lot of the time when I am drawing characters, I end up getting really sketchy, especially with bodies. So I decided to search Google for Sakura Pigma Microns. I came across the website gellyroll, which seems to be Sakura’s American corporate site. So when I went to their Pigma Micron by Sakura page, I clicked on “Store Finder,” typed in “Sakura Micron”, my postal code, and a limit of searching 100 miles, and this is what I found:

Yessssss sakura microns!!!

If they don’t cost too much, sometime I’ll go down to Hali and pic up myself a couple of those.  This should be interesting!
