Well… I’m in Web Dev I class and our instructor is giving a lecture on HTML and XHTML… No problems, although I do know alot of the basics. :p I know that we won’t be learning HTML5 because it’s still in Working Draft mode… I think that at least the HTML part of this class should be pretty easy.
Wow… it’s already been a week since my last post! It’s been an interesting week for sure, there were some events going on, and for the past few days I’ve been chilling in the 3rd floor lounge, last night we watched ‘Shooter’ and a couple of nights before we watched “Blades of Glory”. Right now I got into the classroom (the computer lab) about half an hour early so then I could just sit down at front of the computer and check some things.
It’s too bad that there’s no WiFi in the classrooms, at least on the west side of Forrester… I’m just using one of the free Cat5 cables that is sitting where three of the computers at the back were… -_-;
I am happy to say that I have safely arrived at NSCC and got everything (well, almost everything) set up without too much problems. The only problem that I have right now is that I have no USB cord for my HP All-In-1 printer/scanner/copier. Not much of a problem though, my parents have gone out to Wal*Mart to pick me up a cable.
One other problem that I have had was that for some reason my computer locked up the first time I booted it here (@ nscc) Although it tends to do that sometimes. >_>
Anyway’s, I installed the printer software just a few minutes ago so then I won’t have to deal with it later. I have to head down to the caf here in a little bit for supper, then I have to go to a house meeting (in the same area) and then a floor meeting (in the common area for our assigned floors. That should be fun.
