It seems that H-M has been down for a good week or so.
I’ll try to keep on blogging, at the least twice each month as it has been since over two years ago :) For those who have continued to visit, I thank you.
That time off that I’ve had with Hidden Melody has gotten me thinking about the future, and I believe that in the upcoming months, I will be seeing a transition from Hidden Melody, which with all of the combined periods of being hosted by different places, have been at least four to six years, and even before that, it’s been probably five to six years since I’ve started having my own website, and about five since I’ve started coding HTML and CSS, which I do say, have been pretty much hand-coding my little projects since that time, which would mean that I was 14-13 years old. Of course I’m just guessing, although I do recall that I’ve never did any WWW-related stuff on windows 98 SE, and only after getting XP I started. :3
Well, I think that I should stop rambling on now, and just have to do a little self-promotion of sorts:
My remote development server that’s hosted by a friend is at http://azuretan.mine.nu/; Quite possibly if you visit it right now you might see my upcoming personal site.
Which now brings me to another rant, after the jump.

I do not update this blog very often. It’s not like I have no time for it, I have lots of time. But whenever something happens I never really blogged about it because I never really got into blogging in the first place. The first time that I had WordPress powering Hidden Melody I made a lot of posts, although they have been mainly random little things.
Nowadays I just mainly blog major things, such as “Reach Out to Nova Scotia (Photo Post Day = PPD)” or moving into Residence. Ever since getting my Twitter account, I did twitt for a while but slowly dropping out, but now I’m starting to twitt more often, but the truth is that most of my friends do not care much about Twitter because it’s pretty similar to Facebook’s “Status” feature. But anyway, maybe I should try to ease myself back into blogging, but also try to make more meaningful posts such as this one which I am typing. That is going to be my goal. I cannot say how long it will last, or how often I will try, but I will try to post more often than I currently do.
Anyway, I know that I have had this blog theme for a while now. It’s getting old, stale, and not exactly appealing. I cannot make any promises, but I’ll try to get some sort of theme up here, and if possible (cannot say if it will or will not happen, but) I will make the first ever custom Hidden Melody blog layout. Maybe even with some original art. ;) Speaking of which, during the first couple of weeks into October I created a new deviantART gallery account: http://deus-hikari.deviantart.com/ There isn’t too much there right now, I’m hoping to do some more drawings up there this month, and if any of them are clean enough (clean meaning not sketchy (meaning not scribbled)) I may even attempt to color them.
As for school, it’s been going pretty well :) We’ve already gotten past our midterms, and well on our way to the end of the Fall semester (which ends on Friday December 14) and starting the Winter semester (it should really be called trimesters, because there are three: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Spring semtriester is our work placement for a few weeks.) in January of ‘08. That’s when we start things like Hardware and Databases and such. Fun, fun, fun. :p At the end of April, we have to move out of residence and go do our work placements, which is also going to be our ‘Applied Portfolio’.
Now for some links for your viewing enjoyment.

Well, I guess I must do this some time. ^_^ I just searched Google for “blog post ideas,” and I came across a Lifehacker post, “10 ideas for your next blog post.” It had a link that redirected to a post on Performancing, “10 Killer Post Ideas.” Read it sometime. You may just get rid of that writer’s (or blogger’s) block.
Top Ten:
- Go to school. (Grogerian’s idea ^^;)
- Check my e-mail.
- Check various webcomics, like Megatokyo and Applegeeks. Sometimes I also check japanese art websites, such as Hyoi’s House Leaves, for an example.
- Checking my deviantART account.
- Doing my manga drawings.
- Watching TV
- Working out comic script summaries for future comics.
- Working on a website that may never be finished.
- Reading websites, like slashdot.
- Taking photos, either outside or inside. Usually outside.
